...: SHADOWSIDE PUBLISH COVER AND TRACKLIST FOR THE THEATRE OF SHADOWS ALBUM

Shadowside present the cover for their album Theatre of Shadows. The CD expected to be released on the next semester by Seven/Universal Music has 12 songs, plus a bonus track for Japan – the cover version of Don’t Change your Mind, from the singer Mari Hamada, which despite the title in English, it’s all sang in Japanese. The European version of the album will feature the cover of Ronnie James Dio’s Rainbow in the Dark.

...:Shadowside sign to Seven/Universal Music and announce new drummer

Shadowside have just inked a new record deal with Seven/Universal Music for the album Theatre of Shadows.The CD should be at the stores in July or August this year. There'salso the possibility of a single release. About the label, Dani says:"After so many problems and delays on Frontline Rock, we ended thecontract in a friendly way. I'm really excited about the new recordcompany, besides having great structure and distribution, they're alsogreat people, understand our style and are offering us lots of support.I hope this is the beginning of a successful partnership."

Thus, the band annouces that Fábio Buitvidas is Shadowside new drummer. He was responsible for the recordings of the Theatre of Shadows album.The new member is really motivated and can't wait to debut in the band,planning the future ahead. "I want gigs, gigs, gigs, albums, albums andrehearsals." The drummer, who's been working with the brazilian star Fafá de Belém, spoke about the feeling of going back to his roots. "Recording the Shadowside album made me feel like playing in a band with original material again.The musicians are a pleasant surprise and count with a great singer",says Fabio. "He's an amazing and experienced musician, the way he fitsin the band is incredible. He's a first class drummer and we're allvery proud to have his talent not only on the CD, but also as a realShadowside member", comments Dani. 

 

Atthis very momento, Fabio is rehearsing with the band, looking forwardto the  following activities, including a tour for the newmaterial.

...: News about the mixing of Theatre of Shadows album!

The album is currently being mixed by Santiago Ferraz, who mixed Paul McCartney and Silverchair dvds, besides winning twice the Latin Grammy Award as the producer for Milton Nascimento and Tom Jobim. The mastering is confirmed with Tommy Hansen and the release date is yet to be scheduled.
 

...: Shadowside finish recordings of their debut album.

Shadowside has finished recording their debut full-lenght called Theatre of Shadows.The follower of the EP Shadowside was produced by Fabio Haddad andrecorded at LCM Studio in Sao Paulo. The album will be mastered at theJailhouse Studios in Denmark by Tommy Hansen (Helloween, Pretty Maids, Jorn Lande, TNT, Beyond Twilight). The release date, not yet scheduled, will probably be during summer 2005.
