After touring all over Europe, Shadowside are back home. The band
currently consisting of Dani Nolden (vocals), Raphael Mattos
(guitarist), Ricardo Piccoli (bass) and Fabio Buitvidas (drums)
performed a series of concerts as W.A.S.P.'s special guests in the Old
Continent. The tour, that lasted nearly two months, went through
several countries such as Italy, France, Spain, Germany, Netherlands,
Switzerland, England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, North Ireland, Hungary,
Poland, Lithuania, Estonia, ending in Finland.
During the whole time on the road, the band had a great time on
stage and that was made obvious by their aggressive, fun, energetic and
spontaneous performances, that secured both crowd's and media's
attention.
On the occasion, the group also took the oportunity to present to
the audience Gag Order, song that is going to be on their upcoming
album. New material is going to be recorded in January 2011 at Fredman
Studio in Gothenburg, Sweden. In charge of the production is Fredrik
Nordström, one of the main Heavy Metal producers nowadays. Guitarist of
Dream Evil, Nordström is also known for having worked with Arch Enemy,
Dark Tranquillity, In Flames, Soilwork, Bring Me the Horizon, Opeth and
many others.
It is worth mentioning that Shadowside recently
signed with SHP Records to release previous album Dare to Dream in
North American territory. The deal also covers the release of the new
CD worldwide.
