Shadowside release new album in Europe and confirmed for two festivals

Dracula's Castle will be one of the band's stages

Power, energy, intensity. Shadowside from Brazil can be defined by their and passion for Rock. Featuring Dani Nolden, one of the most  unique and strong female voices ever heard and strong musicianship, they combine the four members' influences of Hard Rock, Thrash and Heavy Metal with a hint of modern. Dare to Dream, the band's most recent effort, was highly praised and a sales success in Brazil, reaching position number 4 in the Metal charts, and is now about to be released worldwide. Its scheduled to be out in May 28th, 2010 via S4/NL Distribution and includes the previously unreleased song "Everlasting Sun" as a bonus track. The album is available for pre-sale at Amazon online stores worldwide in CD and MP3 formats.


Recorded, produced and mixed by Dave Schiffman (Audioslave, System of a Down, Six Feet Under) and mastered by Howie Weinberg (Iron Maiden, Metallica, Pantera, Rush, Aerosmith and several others), “Dare to Dream” is the band's second album. The band has been permanently on the road since the release of its debut album "Theatre of Shadows" in 2006 and has performed in South & North America and in Spain supporting the likes of Primal Fear, Nightwish, Helloween, Divine Heresy, Kittie and Sepultura.

Shadowside have just been confirmed at two Eastern Europe festivals. The band will perform on the third edition of Rockin' Transilvania in Romania, which takes place from June 18 to 20 in Bran's Castle, wordly famous as Dracula's Castle. On June 26, Dani Nolden (vocals), Raphael Mattos (guitar), Ricardo Piccoli (bass) and Fabio Buitvidas (drums) are to appear at Banja Luka Rock Open Air as one of the headliners together with "MM classic Whitesnake".
